FAMILY LEISURE
RIDES
Throughout the school holidays Velo and CTL run a programme of leisure rides
for young people, families or those looking for something less sporty than
our club rides.
Family leisure rides celebrate the fun and benefits of cycling to encourage individuals to engage with more confidence and enjoyment.
Led by Qualified Ride or Trail Leaders we do not exceed 1:6 leader/child participant ratio and 1:10 for adults/families. All family leisure rides are
pre-ridden and are vary in length to take in our fantastic network of lanes,
cycle paths, bridleways, canals and roads. You'll be amazed how easy it
is to access our beautiful local countryside, towns and cities by bike.
LEISURE
RIDES
Over the past nine years our team have planned and delivered enjoyable and popular leisure rides for family groups, schools, businesses, universities, charity organisations, local authorities and minority groups.
Led rides have included routes on the Manifold Trail, Isabelle Trail, National Cycle Network Route 5, Cannock Chase, Stoke City Centre, City and Rural Canal Networks and the Middlewood Way.
